Hi! My name is Jessie and I have been working in the dental field for over nineteen years. I started working as a dental assistant shortly after receiving my x-ray license in 2003. I enjoyed working as a dental assistant, but after learning about insurance billing, I realized I was a better fit in helping patients understand insurance and financing dental treatment. I enjoy getting to know all our patients and making them feel like they are a part of the Lewelling Dental Care family.

In my spare time I enjoy traveling, reading, watching movies, spending time with my dog, family, and friends, and attending as many BSB concerts and Giants games as possible.

Hello, my name is Shirley. I used to work in retail business before coming to work for Dr. Kazi. Shortly after working here as a floater, I decided to get my x-ray license, and for the past ten years have been working here as a dental assistant. I like how I am part of a team that helps people get their smile back.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family which includes my husband and my two sons.

Hi, my name is Annalisa. I am a dental assistant. But I also usually assist our new patients, making sure they have a good first experience. 

I entered the dental field in 2003 where I worked as an assistant. After I worked part time in another office after school for a few years. While working there, I got my x-ray license and started working more directly with patients. After I graduated high school, I started full time in a dental lab. Soon after, I found Dr. Kazi’s office. Dr. Kazi has given me the opportunity to learn more by sending us to many different seminars and training with new technology. We’re like a family here, and provide great dental care with comfort and care. I now have ten years of experience in the dental field.

When I’m not working, I spend my free time with my friends and family. I like to go to social events such as concerts and enjoy dancing.

Hello, my name is Maricela. I moved to the East Bay after living in southern California since my childhood. Lewelling Dental Care is my first job in the dental field; I’ve been here for over ten years now as a dental assistant. I was introduced to the field by my sister, an RDA herself. She allowed me to volunteer at one of her offices. From there, I realized it was a type of job I would enjoy. So I enrolled in the same school as her, American Career College in Los Angeles. I graduated in 2009 with my diploma in Dental Assisting and received my x-ray license. I like having the opportunity to help people and being part of the process of creating beautiful smiles. I enjoy working with the GREAT staff here; they make this job fun and unpredictable.

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my son and husband, as well as cooking, going to rodeos and planning get-togethers with my friends.

Hi, my name is Uma. I have been a dental hygienist for over twenty years and have been with Dr. Kazi for over twenty years. I love to interact with patients. I enjoy working at Lewelling Dental Care. I like my job educating patients about their oral health.

I have been married for twenty five years with two boys. My hobbies are hiking every weekend, and spending time with family. 

Hi! My name is Bharath and I am a Dental Hygienist. I have been working with Dr. Kazi since I graduated 8 years ago. l love educating patients about the importance of oral health and overall health.  I have strong interpersonal and organizational skills for building rapport with diverse populations. My hobbies include playing cricket and cooking.
